Maricopa County (Phoenix area) is sponsoring a new weblog: QuittersBlog.
I wonder whether this will be effective, but then again, I don't smoke and thus don't identify with the stories. And what happens if they 'fall off the wagon'? Do they blog that, or is some kind of censorship in place?
On the technical side, it looks like a vanilla wordpress install. I couldn't find any indication of how the content is licensed. All the posts show up from 'Administrator', so yeah, there probably is a filter layer. -m

Nice blog Micah. Thanks for noticing our little site. To address your questions, yes we have to censor our bloggers' posts and comments because we are a government organization (and this was part of the agreement to pilot the project:).
We hope our bloggers don't fall off the wagon, but we absolutely want them to share their stories if they do. The whole point is to show everyone just how hard it is to quit. Many people give up just after trying once or twice. Obviously we would love for more people to utilize our program, but we're trying to offer support to our clients and anyone else around the world trying to quit tobacco.
We have definitely received a lot of interesting stories and testimonials. Hopefully people keep checking in on our bloggers. Any advice you have to keep people coming back would be appreciated!
