What seems like a boring, tedious topic on the surface is surprisingly deep and challenging. As evidence, the multi-billion-dollar plan to modernize the US census in 2010 has fallen back to <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/s\/ap\/20080403\/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe\/census_problems\">paper technology<\/a>. Sadly their plans didn&#8217;t involve XForms.<\/p>\n<p>Highly-critical applications, like say voting, are even more difficult to get right.
