This is a list of all the <span class=\"yshortcuts\" id=\"lw_1201145577_0\">Flickr<\/span> photos with the tag &#8220;<span class=\"Plain\">xmlns:dc=http:\/\/purl.org\/dc\/elements\/1.1\/<\/span>&#8220;. Although these have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/groups\/api\/discuss\/72157594497877875\/\">been around for a while<\/a>, I hadn&#8217;t been aware of this kind of tagging until recently.<\/p>\n<p>Why &#8220;xml&#8221; in the namespace declaration? This doesn&#8217;t have much to do with XML. How many tags are there in the world that start with &#8220;dc:&#8221; and are not referring to <span class=\"yshortcuts\" id=\"lw_1201145577_1\">Dublin Core<\/span>? At least the tag declaring the namespace provides a good hook for finding things with machine tags.
