Google and Sun - from the peanut gallery

OpenOffice and Java are the second and third things, respectively, that I install on any machine I set up. I've never used the Google toolbar (or any other company-specific browser add-on).

1) Me and several others were completely unable to connect to the webcast. Maybe it's nothing, but that doesn't seem to bode well for a distribution-centric deal.

2) They hype storm around this was more than a little silly. Expectations got so high that a letdown was inevitable.

3) Does this mean that OpenOffice on OS X will now get some badly-needed resources? Pretty please? -m

P.S. Embracing OpenOffice makes Google an XForms company, no? :)
