Corel Photo-Paint 11 on OS X Tiger

After upgrading to Tiger, Photo Paint 11 would start to launch, show a splash screen, then just vanish. On the Corel support site, I found a page about the same problem for the OS X 10.3 upgrade. (No link given, as the site has unfriendly URLs) The same advice for a fix works. For google posterity:

Go to ~/Library/Preferences and Trash the "Corel Graphics 11 Preferences" folder and the com.corel.PHOTO-PAINT.plist file. All will be good.

On a related note, the same site says that 95% of their market uses Windows, so they aren't releasing a version 12 for Mac. Could that statistic be right? Could a woefully neglected Mac section on the web site be a contributor? -m
